2 Ridge Point High School staff members under investigation for inappropriate conduct

MISSOURI CITY, Texas – Two staff members at Ridge Point High School in the Fort Bend Independent School District are under investigation for allegations of inappropriate conduct.

The employees, whose names have not been released, are on leave and not on campus anymore, according to the school. The investigations are still active.

No further details of the allegations have been revealed.

In a letter sent home to parents, Principal Tammy Edwards wrote, "We do not condone the inappropriate conduct of any of our employees and take these allegations very seriously. The District will take prompt and appropriate actions based on the findings of the investigations.

"If you or your student has direct information related to these investigations, please contact the FBISD Crime Stoppers at (281) 491-8477.  Parents and students may also send an anonymous tip through text messaging by typing GETPAID, followed by their message, and sending to 274637 (CRIMES)."

KPRC 2 spoke with a man picking up his grandson from school Wednesday. He said he hopes the allegations aren't true.

"We heard a couple of teachers had something do with some of the young boys. We hope it is not true. I hope they are checking into it because you feel sorry about somebody's career," Bill Brown said. "If it is true it is really bad, but I hope they check into it before anything really happens."
