Spring gas station busted for selling synthetic marijuana

HOUSTON – Conroe police and Montgomery County constables executed a search warrant last Wednesday for synthetic marijuana at a Texaco at 660 Rayford Sawdust Road in Spring.

According to police, the investigation revealed two suspects were selling synthetic marijuana out of the business. The suspects were selling it for $20-$25 for a 3-gram bag.

Several pre-packed bags were located in the safe below the cash register. Also during the investigation, an additional 1.1 pounds were found in an apartment. The street value of the drugs is approximately $10,000.

Individuals using the drug can quickly become addicted and suffer the effects of violent and erratic behavior, suicidal tendencies and death.

The suspects were identified as Jehangir Iqbal and Mohammad Ruhul Amin. They were arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
