Attorney: David Conley, man accused of murdering 8 people, is mentally incompetent

HOUSTON – A judge is reviewing the case of a man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend, her husband and their six children.

David Conley's attorney said he has submitted evidence that his client is mentally incompetent to stand trial.

A decision is expected within 90 days.

Conley is accused of murdering the family last August.

There is a gag order in the case.
