Traffic stop leads to early-morning chase
No description foundHOUSTON – Two men are in custody after leading deputies on a chase through southwest Harris County.
It started around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, when a Precinct 5 deputy constable tried to pull over an SUV for running a stop light on Beechnut and Beltway 8.
That's when deputies say the driver took off, leading deputies on a chase that last about six miles on Beechnut.
It ended when the driver finally pulled over.
He was taken into custody, along with another man who was a passenger.
