HOUSTON – Bad news for hot air balloon enthusiasts around Houston.
Organizers say the annual Remax Ballunar Liftoff has been canceled.

The event, held at the Johnson Space Center, is usually one of the largest hot air balloon launches in the nation.
A message was posted on the event website Wednesday letting everyone know the event is off.
Organizers say the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce could no longer sponsor the event.
Nassau Bay is looking for a new sponsor and hopes to be back next year.
