Montgomery County sheriff's deputies said surveillance video at a home in the Sentinel Oaks Subdivision off of Highway 249 in the Pinehurst area captured video of Woodard breaking into the home on Aug. 8.

Detectives said Woodard was in the home for a few seconds before he ran out with a large-screen TV.

Deputies said they got several tips, which led them to Woodard. He was arrested in at an apartment complex on Nichols Sawmill Road early Thursday.

During the arrest, investigators said crystal methamphetamine was found in Woodard's possession.

Officials said that Woodard tried to convince him that he was his younger brother.

Woodard did not say that he saw the surveillance video of the burglary, investigators said, but he said that he was aware that it had been on television and posted on the Internet. He had altered his appearance by cutting his hair and shaving, detectives said.
