Now playing: Queensbury Theatre’s brand new production of Mean Girls The Musical

HOUSTON – Get in, loser... we’re going to the theater!

The Plastics are taking over Queensbury Theatre as Mean Girls The Musical comes to Houston August 6th–16th.

Queensbury Theatre is presenting Houston’s regional premiere of the newly revised West End production, giving theatergoers a chance to experience a fresh take on the hit musical.

This London-inspired version includes updated scenes, new songs and creative changes that local audiences haven’t seen before.

Based on the hit 2004 film, the musical follows Cady Heron, a teenager who spent her childhood growing up on the African savanna before moving to suburban Illinois. As she navigates the complicated social hierarchy of high school, she finds herself caught in the orbit of The Plastics—the popular clique led by the confident and calculating Regina George.

Packed with sharp humor, catchy songs and heartfelt moments, Mean Girls The Musical reminds audiences that being yourself never goes out of style.
