HOUSTON – There’s no better person to celebrate 713 Day with than the person who founded the holiday, right? 😜
A pioneer of Houston hip-hop and one of the original members of the legendary Screwed Up Click, Houston rap icon Lil’ Keke has spent nearly three decades proudly representing H-Town through his music.
Best known for his 1997 hit Southside, he’s become one of the city’s most recognizable cultural ambassadors and is widely recognized as the founder of 713 Day, a celebration of everything that makes Houston unique.
This year, he’s teaming up with the Houston Texans for a limited-edition 713 Day T-shirt designed to celebrate the pride, culture, and spirit of the Bayou City.
Fans will have the opportunity to pick up the exclusive shirt during a special 713 Day celebration tonight at Social Junkie, where Lil’ Keke will be on hand to celebrate with the community.
