Located next to Dillard’s and across from Visible Changes inside Memorial City Mall, the new store introduces a modern, interactive shopping experience designed to inspire families to embrace outdoor adventure year-round. While many Houstonians may know Sun & Ski Sports for winter gear, the brand has evolved into a full outdoor and active lifestyle destination with something for every season.
From bikes and trail-running shoes to swimwear, watersports equipment, hiking gear, activewear, and travel essentials, the store is packed with products designed to help customers get moving and enjoy the outdoors. Shoppers can browse top brands including The North Face, Patagonia, Free People Movement, HOKA, Brooks, On, Vuori, Salomon, and more.
But the excitement doesn’t stop with the new space. Saturday’s Grand Reopening Celebration is turning into a full community event with activities for all ages happening from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The day kicks off with a morning Fun Run at 9 a.m. hosted alongside the City Centre Running Club before the celebration officially begins. Guests can enjoy giveaways, hourly prize drawings, free bike washes, complimentary 3D foot scans, product demos from major brands, and appearances from vendors showcasing the latest outdoor gear and apparel.
There will also be family-friendly activities throughout the day, including live art from mural artist DonkeyBoy and chances to win prizes like a Cannondale Trail 3 bike giveaway. The first 100 customers making a purchase will receive a limited-edition DonkeyBoy collaboration T-shirt, and guests who spend $50 will receive a free Bula water bottle while supplies last.
