End of a ‘Barrera’: Tessa Barrera announces she’s leaving ‘Houston Life’

HOUSTON – It has been nearly 3 years since Tessa Barrera walked through the doors of KPRC 2 and was named co-host of Houston Life.

With a background in sports reporting in Corpus Christi, Tessa then moved to host a radio show in Los Angeles before being selected as co-host for the Rod Ryan Show in 2019. Then, in 2023, she was selected as co-host for Houston Life. She continued doing both radio and television for more than a year.

As for what’s next, Tessa is keeping that under wraps, but says she plans to spend much more time with her family and loved ones, who have always been supportive of her career.
