We sent Houston Life sales reporter Melanie Camp live to the Kroger (5150 Buffalo Speedway) to show shoppers how to tackle two big weekends without the stress. For the Big Game, Kroger has grab-and-go options that make entertaining simple, including party trays, wings, sushi, chips, dips, and game-day snacks. There are even Kroger-branded chips created just for game day, along with canned mocktails and drinks for anyone easing out of Dry January.
After the game, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and Kroger has plenty of last-minute finds that still feel thoughtful. Chocolate-dipped strawberries are a classic favorite, and Mel showed just how easy they are to make at home using fresh strawberries and melted chocolate. It’s a simple treat that feels special without requiring a lot of time or effort.

Flowers are also a big part of Valentine’s Day, and Kroger happens to be the world’s largest florist. To make gifting even easier, Valentine’s Day Express Tents will be set up so shoppers can quickly grab fresh blooms, candy, and cards and be on their way. Curbside pickup and delivery options are also available for added convenience.
