Bert Kreischer talks fatherhood, fame, and his new scripted comedy series, “Free Bert”

Houston, Texas – Comedian Bert Kreischer is bringing his larger-than-life personality to scripted television with a new six-episode comedy series inspired by his real life as a dad.

The show, Free Bert centers around a gloriously messy (and usually shirtless) father who is forced to take a hard look at himself after his daughters are accepted into an elite, Beverly Hills private school. The culture clash sparks plenty of laughs, but at its core, the series explores: fatherhood, self-awareness and what it really means to show up for your kids.

Kreischer is proof that you can balance outrageous humor, girl dad strength, and admitting that you are still a work in progress.
