HOUSTON – Grab your capes, charge your lightsabers, and dust off that cosplay—Comicpalooza is back in Houston! From epic celebrity sightings to wild fan mashups, this pop-culture playground brings together comics, anime, gaming, sci-fi, fantasy, and everything in between.
Comicpalooza is an annual, ultimate pop culture festival filled with entertainment all weekend at the George R. Brown Convention Center from June 20th – 22nd.
From comic books to collectibles, celebrity panels, to pop culture icons, there’s no telling what you’ll find.
Tens of thousands of attendees can expect a diverse exhibition floor filled with unique finds from merchants and special attractions from all over the US, making it the largest pop culture convention in Texas.
An out-of-this-world guest lineup featuring Star Wars icons Hayden Christensen, Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen; legendary comedic duo Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong; Resident Alien stars, Alan Tudyk, Corey Reynolds, Sara Tomko, and Alice Wetterlund; multi-faceted actors Anthony Michael Hall and Patton Oswalt; and horror stars Sosie Bacon and Alicia Witt. Renowned voice actors such as Dragon Ball Z’s Sean Schemmel and anime favorites Keith Silverstein and Spike Spencer are also part of the epic line up along with comic artists Joe Eisma, Carl Horn, and Marc Silvestri.
