Go wild at the 17th annual Bridgeland Nature Fest in Cypress

Houston – If you’re looking for a fun, family-friendly adventure this weekend? Head over to Cypress for the 17th annual Bridgeland Nature Fest, happening this Saturday at 10 a.m. at Lakeland Village Center’s Meadows Park — and yes, admission is free. Any small purchases you make at Nature Fest goes back to the community and Cy-Hope, a non-profit that brings needs and solutions together to provide a wide range of programs that instill hope in underserved children.

From up-close animal encounters to hands-on educational experiences, this year’s event promises a wild time for guests of all ages. YouTube star and animal expert Corbin Maxey is the headlining act and will be, joined by some truly fascinating creatures — including Tony, a hefty Red Tegu, and Hubble the tamandua (a type of anteater with a 16-inch tongue and a serious love for anything acidic).

Bridgeland, the Howard Hughes community hosting the event, is known for its emphasis on green space, with more than 11,000 acres dedicated to parks, trails, and open areas.
