Catching up with the Houston Mambas women’s football team about new season

HOUSTON – We all know that in Texas the passion for football runs deep, the competition is fierce, and the Houston Mambas are striking fear into the Women’s National Football Conference!

They compete in the women’s national football conference (WNFC), which is dedicated to advancing equity for women and girls in sports through the power of football.

Their home opener is on April 5th against the Denver Bandits, and they have quite an exciting season ahead.

The team practices and plays at Panther Stadium in Sheldon ISD, and tomorrow’s game time is 7 p.m.
