Supersize your spring break with deals and delicious new dishes at Moody Gardens in Galveston

GALVESTON – Moody Gardens is ready to host you for a “Supersized” spring break. The popular attraction on Galveston Island has deals for Houston families who want to get away without going far throughout the month of March.

In March, Moody Gardens has a One-Day Value Pass available that provides you unlimited admission on the day you go to the Aquarium and Rainforest Pyramids, Discovery Museum, Colonel Paddlewheel Boat, MG 3D, 4D Special FX, and Audience Recognition Theater.

Moody Gardens Hotel

The Moody Gardens Hotel is kid and dog friendly. Over spring break, guests who stay two nights can get $50 off the second night. Guests who stay four nights get $100 off the last night.


Four New Films

Starting March 9, Moody Gardens has four new films for guests to enjoy, including:

  • Octopus: Blue Planet II 4D
  • DC League of Super-Pets 4D

Film Feast

Feast on creative new dishes inspired by the new flicks at Moody Gardens. The Moody Gardens culinary team is serving up new mushroom, calamari, and seafood options at all their restaurants.

Just a few of the items available include chargrilled octopus tacos at the Garden Restaurant, crab stuffed mushrooms at Shearn’s Seafood & Prime Steaks, and pulled mushroom tacos at Cafe in the Park.
