Eat tasty chili and support a good cause at Onion Creek’s 16th annual H-town chili throwdown

HOUSTON – Spice up your weekend plans at the family-friendly 16th annual Onion Creek H-town Chili Throwdown.

From fun activities like the mechanical bull ride and face painting to drinks and chili, they’re making their sweet 16 an event you don’t want to miss.

More than 20 teams will compete in the chili cookoff, with one big rule -- every chili creation has to include chocolate.

If you go, not only will you get to taste the chili, you’ll get to vote for the chili you think is the best.

You’ll also be supporting two local causes. Proceeds from the event will go toward The 100 Club and Summerhouse Houston, which is an organization that helps young adults with intellectual disabilities learn everyday skills.

It’s the best of both worlds. Support local organizations while having fun. The day will include appearances from 94.5 the Buzz’s Rod Ryan.
