Houston – Whether you know Atsuko Okatsuka from her social media, her outfits or her iconic haircut, she’s making her presence known in the realms of comedy.
She has been doing stand-up comedy for 13 years now but in 2022 everything changed with her breakout HBO Special The Intruder.
Since then, her ever-growing fanbase has shown up for her around the country and even here in Houston.
She’s mentioned looking up to Margaret Cho and even being compared to the late, and great, Robin Williams. To that, she says she’s a mix of the two.
Okatsuka is performing this Sunday at the Cullen Theatre at Wortham Center. Tickets start at just $29.50. The show starts at 7 p.m.
