Houston documentary ‘For the Animals’ up for Oscar consideration
Houston – Houston Twins and philanthropists Tena Lundquist Faust and Tama Lundquist have always been for the animals and their documentary with the same title is up for Oscar consideration.
With resources, volunteers and local bureaucracy playing a role in the situation, the sisters set out to try to solve the growing stray crisis in Houston.
Although ‘For the Animals’ is set in Houston, the ASPCA says that approximately 6.3 million companions animals enter shelters every year in the United States.
With decades of experience under their belts, Tena and Tama do what they do best to save the animals they love.
