HOUSTON – A local teen is making her name on the music scene at a very young age.

At age ten, she was the youngest finalist in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s Rodeo Rockstar competition where she won second place. At age eleven, she sang the National Anthem at a Houston Astros game.

This summer, she got the chance to open for country-rock artist Bonnie Bishop and received five Josie Music Awards nominations, the largest independent recording artist award show in the nation.

The incoming high-schooler is scheduled to attend the award show at the Grand Ole Opry House on October 23, 2022, in Nashville, TN.
