Two goats -- yes, goats -- are now safely under the care of Harris County Animal Livestock after they were found wandering inside a Target store near Spring Wednesday afternoon.

According to Mark Herman with Harris County Pct. 4, deputies were called to the 200 block of Cypresswood Drive.

While the goats were apparently out shopping for the latest sales and possibly getting a deal on a new TV, Pct. 4 said they were later corralled by a deputy and safely contained in the entryway between two sets of doors.

Customers were inside the store at the time the goats were shopping, but no fights were reported over Room-baaaahs.

According to Pct. 4, both goats, who appeared to be show goats, were taken to Harris County Animal Livestock team after deputies reportedly told them that it was “time to goat home.”

It’s unclear how the goats arrived at the store, but we think they may have arrived in a Dodge Ram.
