HOUSTON – Houston has endured several soggy days as deep tropical moisture fueled repeated rounds of heavy rain across Southeast Texas. Rainfall totals over the past three days have generally ranged from 1 to 5 inches, with isolated amounts above 6 inches near Bay City. Although a few more showers remain possible, the overall weather pattern is beginning to change as Houston gradually dries out and heats up.
