Mother’s Day Forecast:

While rain may sprinkle in some areas Sunday, it won’t dampen everyone’s plans. Most of the day should be dry, but we’ll track for the possibility of rain most likely just east of I-45 with the best chance during the afternoon and evening.

Temperatures staying slightly below-average paired with lower humidity and breezy conditions making it feel very comfortable for May.

Monday’s Forecast:

Clouds decrease on Monday as the low-pressure system that pushed showers into SE Texas moves away from the Gulf Coast. Instead, High pressure begins to build in from the south, which will eventually set Houston up with a humid and hot southerly flow.

High pressure moves in, bringing hotter temperatures and decreased rain chances

Before the summer-like temperatures arrive, Monday’s temperatures will be close to average in the mid-80s.

Near average

10-day forecast:

By the end of next week temperatures climb to the 90s! A steady south wind will rise dew points into the 70s, making it feel like the upper 90s to triple digits.

A streak of above average temperatures that could come close to tying or breaking daily temperature records
