Tonight shower and storm chances approach SE Texas as storms move out of Mexico and West Texas.
Keep an eye on Radar here:
Friday’s Forecast:
Rain chances will come to end Friday morning before sunrise.
After early morning rain chances there there maybe some wrap around moisture in the evening into Friday night that could spark a few showers and storms. These will be spotty in nature.
If you are looking for good news, a north wind will help bring in “cooler temperatures” that will carry into Mother’s day weekend.
Mother’s Day Weekend:
Rain chances hover around 20% Saturday, and Sunday, so if you have Mother’s Day plans, you don’t need to cancel them.
The cold front will clear the area, bringing drier and cooler air and dropping temperatures into the upper 70s and low 80s.
There is one fly in the ointment for the holiday weekend, though. An upper-level low that develops east of SE Texas could increase rain chances if it moves to the west, it will bring more clouds than we wanted for mom but for now, we’re keeping rain chances at 20%.
10-day forecast:
Next week looks dry and it gets hotter. By the end of next week temperatures climb to the 90s! A steady south wind will make for an early summer-like feel, hope you’re ready!
