Houston nearing record heat Wednesday

In the first week of April, temperatures are coming in hot! Wednesday morning temperatures start in the low to mid-70s; this time of year, we typically wake up in the upper 50s.

The warm morning sets the stage for Wednesday’s daytime highs that will be near the record of 89 set in 1939.
