Communities across Harris County face massive floods

HOUSTON – KPRC 2 is continuing to track showers and thunderstorms moving throughout the day.

Communities in northern Harris County near the San Jacinto River experienced massive floods Wednesday, and they are preparing for more chaotic weather tonight.

The potential for flooding rain is high. Rain amounts in our northern cities may range from 5″-8″.

In Houston, we’ll get a range of 1″-4″. There is also a severe weather threat for damaging winds.
