HOUSTON – Houston will hit 80 degrees for the first time this year Thursday! The last time we were in the 80s was Dec. 9, 2023, which means it’s been over 10 weeks!
Houston can hit 80 degrees on any given day. Did you know that Houston has hit 80 degrees every day of the year except for two? Our record high temperature on January 4 and January 8 is only 79°. Last year, we had our first 80 degree day on January 7.
