Saturday morning storms:

The heaviest rain and strongest thunderstorms move through SE Texas early Saturday morning. Rain totals range from 1″-4″ and because of our saturated grounds we are susceptible to more flooding. Areas that flooded last week need to pay close attention Saturday morning to see how you are holding up. All of us also have a severe weather threat. Damaging winds and a tornado or two forming are the main threats. By late morning all the storms move east. The rest of the weekend is dry, mostly sunny and breezy.

6 AM second round of storms arrive moving out by 11 am.

10-Day forecast:

Because the cold front Saturday is from the Pacific, the drop in temperatures next week is slight. Our next chance of rain is Friday of next week.

Headed back to sunshine Sunday before rain returns late next week.
