Woman killed, man rescued after major crash near Bammel Road in northwest Harris County

A woman was killed in a major crash Thursday morning near Bammel Road and Greenbrook Drive in northwest Harris County, according to the Office of Harris County Constable Mark Herman.

Deputies responded to the crash and found a man and woman inside one of the vehicles involved.

Authorities said the female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The male driver was safely removed from the vehicle.
