A Houston-area high school student is charged after authorities said he brought a loaded gun onto campus at Alief ISD’s Elsik High School, and court records indicate he was previously convicted in a similar case.

A student was taken into custody Tuesday after bringing a gun to Kingwood Park High School, according to the principal.
