According to Houston Police, officers were called to a shooting on Richmond Avenue and Breezewood drive on Saturday night.  Investigators said a 31-year-old man was shot multiple times and died at the scene. Police said that officers recovered a gun. Officers detained several people for questioning, but no arrests have been made.

Investigators said that the victim was found on the ground on the road on Maxwell Lane near the Gulf Freeway at 10:30 on Friday night.

A man has been arrested, charged with murder in the death of his mother in north Harris County.

A second man has reportedly been found shot to death after investigators connected him to another homicide investigation at a home along T C Jester Boulevard near West 18th street, according to Houston police.

HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating after a man’s body was found in a ditch in southwest Houston, officers said. When they arrived at the scene, officers said they found an unidentified man’s body in a ditch. Investigators said a worker was picking up trash along the road and found a body in a ditch with a gunshot wound. Authorities say they haven’t found any shell casings or much evidence at the scene, causing them to believe the body was dumped there. Detectives say in the last few months, there was another body dumped nearby.
