La Liga players have launched protests against the league’s decision to stage a regular season game in Miami.

Uruguay and Luis Suarez were eliminated from the World Cup despite a 2-0 win over Ghana on Friday.

A protester ran onto the field carrying a rainbow flag and wearing a blue Superman T-shirt that said “SAVE UKRAINE” on the front and “RESPECT FOR IRANIAN WOMAN” on the back during a World Cup match between Portugal and Uruguay.

Mohammed Kudus scored a pair of goals and Ghana staved off elimination at the World Cup with a 3-2 victory over South Korea.

The 0-0 draw between Uruguay and South Korea was the fourth scoreless game of this year’s World Cup.

Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first male player to score at five World Cups with a goal for Portugal against Ghana.

South Korea and Uruguay started their World Cup campaigns with a 0-0 draw.
