Fort Bend Independent School District says it will use new name pronunciation technology during all 12 graduation ceremonies this year, allowing students to record their names in advance to help ensure accurate pronunciation as they walk the stage. The district says the move is aimed at honoring students’ identities in one of the nation’s most diverse school districts.
