Harris County has filed a lawsuit against two men accused of counterfeiting property deeds in the Trinity Gardens area and selling properties to unsuspecting buyers, Harris County Attorney Christian D. Menefee announced.

Edward Stewart worked his entire life in restaurants, starting as a dishwasher, busser, waiter, and cook and then sweated his way all the way up to manager.

On Tuesday night, dozens of candles lit up the area outside of a home in Trinity Gardens, where a woman was shot dead last Thursday.

HOUSTON – A James Beard Award nominated chef is reinventing his north Houston restaurant into a grocery store in the aftermath of closures due to coronavirus. In 2018, Jonny Rhodes opened Restaurant Indigo in the Trinity Gardens neighborhood where he grew up. Rhodes said his original reason for opening the grocery store was to provide healthier options for the community, where fresh foods are not easily found.
