Authorities have captured Dewarren Knowles and Antioneo Ryen Sims, who were both listed on Texas' 10 Most Wanted list. Knowles, arrested in San Antonio, had been on the run since February with a warrant for sexual assault of a child. Sims, apprehended in Houston, had multiple convictions for failing to register as a sex offender. These arrests contribute to the 31 fugitives captured by Texas Crime Stoppers in 2024.

Two of Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders are back in custody after their arrests last week, DPS announced Wednesday.

The Texas Department of Public Safety on Wednesday added two new fugitives to its Texas 10 Most Wanted lists. Gang member Joshua David Whitworth, of Magnolia, was added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List and sex offender John Oliver Talmadge McMickings, of El Paso, was added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders List.
