A study conducted by SmartAsset, a financial technology company, reports Houston suburbs League City, Pearland and Sugar Land are among the most livable mid-sized cities in the U.S. According to SmartAsset, the study was performed to determine more affordable and less crowded communities which may be desirable. “For Americans seeking a more affordable and less crowded alternative to the bustle of a big city but not interested in very small towns, a mid-sized city might be the best place to put down roots,” the site says. The Houston-area suburbs are three of nine mid-sized cities recognized in Texas.
