Spring Branch ISD approves pay increase, raises starting pay to $62K, district says
The Spring Branch ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved a 3% pay increase for all employees in the district as part of the $357.5 million budget for the 2023 fiscal year. Trustees also approved starting teacher pay for 2022-2023 of $62,000, the district said in a news release Tuesday.
H-E-B will give employees โlargest pay increaseโ in companyโs history
HOUSTON โ Great news for H-E-B employees: the company plans to transition from โTexas Proud Payโ to a permanent wage increase, making the biggest pay increase in company history. In a news release Monday evening, H-E-B said the $2-per-hour raise was originally made to be temporary for employees working through the coronavirus pandemic. The โTexas Proud Payโ raise ended on June 21. โWe believe this crisis will be around for an indeterminate amount of time and our goal is to reward our partners for their hard work and dedication with more than temporary bonuses,โ H-E-B said in the statement. H-E-B also announced it will make Martin Luther King Jr. Day a paid company holiday.
H-E-B will extend $2-per-hour pay raise for all employees
The company announced Thursday via Twitter that they will extend their $2-per-hour Texas Proud Pay through June 21 for partners in hourly, manufacturing warehouse, and transportation positions. The pay raise began on March 16 and was supposed to expire May 24, according to their Twitter account.
