A Baytown Police officer has resigned amid ongoing internal and criminal investigations into alleged misuse of the department’s Flock license plate reader system. Chief John Stringer stated that both investigations remain active and that the results will be reported to authorities, including the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
