HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – One man is dead and a woman is in critical condition after a shooting in east Harris County, authorities said.
Harris County sheriff’s deputies were called around 5:47 a.m. to the 5400 block of North Redell Road near Baytown. When they arrived, they found two adults suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was flown by Life Flight to a hospital in critical condition.
Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators are processing the area. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, and authorities have not released additional details.
