A bicyclist was killed in a chain-reaction crash near the Crosby Freeway when a Hyundai SUV failed to yield at an intersection, struck a Ford truck, which then hit the bicyclist.

A vehicle struck two construction workers on Crosby Freeway, resulting in one fatality and one critical injury. The driver, a man in his early 20s, showed no signs of intoxication and stopped shortly after the incident. Deputies confirmed sobriety with a field test and reported no charges are being filed currently. Both workers were airlifted to a hospital, with one succumbing to injuries.
