CYPRESS, Texas A construction worker was killed on site Thursday after an 8-foot trench collapsed in a neighborhood in Cypress, officials said. Cy-Fair firefighters responded to a rescue at Bridgeland subdivision near Parkland Trail Crossing and Summit Point Crossing. The rescue efforts turned into a recovery after the worker was pronounced dead. The victims identity has not been released.
