Of all the things to see on the highway, the Sugar Land Police Department shared this photo of an 8-foot gator seen on Highway 6, who they said clearly "didn't get the memo about Labor Day."

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office released the victim's identity Saturday and said the gator was "humanely killed."
