Two Aldine Independent School District children and a bus driver were attacked by an unleased pit bull Wednesday at a bus stop in northwest Harris County, according to the district.

The community in the Aldine area is being asked to remain vigilant after several barn animals were fatally attacked by a pack of stray dogs Wednesday morning, according to Harris County Public Health.

An off-duty captain from Aldine ISD Police Department was involved in a shooting with alleged robbery suspects inside a downtown parking garage early Saturday, Houston police said.
