Texans tickets for 2017 season go on sale

Single-game tickets go on sale; team has limited supply of individual tickets

HOUSTON – Single-game tickets for the 2017 Houston Texans home games went on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday.

The team says there is a limited supply of tickets for individual games this year, because the Texans have sold over 67,000 season tickets. So if there is a game (or two, or three) that you have your eye on, you might want to act fast on Thursday.

Fans can purchase tickets online via www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at 800-745-3000. Single-game tickets will not be sold at the NRG Stadium box office.

If you don't score tickets on Thursday, the team encourages fans to visit the Houston Texans Ticket Exchange, powered by Ticketmaster. The Ticket Exchange is the only League-approved ticket resale marketplace.

There will be a lot of high-demand home games. The Texans open the regular season on Sept. 10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. That's when the Texans will wear their all-white uniforms and honor first responders.

On Nov. 19, when the Texans face the Arizona Cardinals, the Texans will induct Andre Johnson as the inaugural member of the team’s Ring of Honor during a halftime ceremony.

Battle Red Day will take place on Dec. 10 when the Texans take on the San Francisco 49ers.
