Breezy in Houston behind Saturday’s severe storms

Saturday Storm Recap:

Storms roared through Southeast Texas Saturday, dropping 2 inches of rain in spots. This is great news because we are still under widespread drought.

The area also saw widespread wind damage and lightning , bringing down fences and even reports of collapsed steps.

Saturday night plenty of wind damage

Brenham even saw pea sized hail when the line of storms first began to organize.

Sunday:

Thankfully, Sunday’s forecast is partly sunny, dry but could be gusty with the potential for wind gusts up to 20 mph.
