HOUSTON – Officials at the University of Houston introduced Chris Pezman as the school’s new athletics director during a news conference Tuesday.
Pezman, who served as the assistant athletics director for football operations at UH during the 2012 and 2013 seasons, comes back to Houston after spending four years as senior associate athletics director at the University of California, Berkeley.
Pezman also worked with NRG Park for a decade.
In 1992, Pezman served as the captain of the UH football team.
Pezman takes over after the departure of Hunter Yurachek, who left for the University of Arkansas.
