Woman wanted for using credit card stolen from 93-year-old veteran

SUGAR LAND, Texas – Police have released surveillance video of a woman wanted for using credit cards stolen from an elderly military veteran while he was sleeping in an assisted-living home in Sugar Land.

The son of the 93-year-old victim called police on May 21 after he noticed that the credit card was fraudulently used the day before at a Dollar General at 2421 FM 1092 and a Target at 5757 Fairmont Parkway.

Police said the veteran's card was stolen from his wallet while he was asleep in his room at the Atria Assisted Living at 1401 Soldier Field Drive.

Surveillance video captured a suspect using the credit card, according to police.. She is described as a black woman in her mid-30s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds.
