HOUSTON – As crews work to remove mold discovered in Willowridge High School by a construction crew, officials said Wednesday students will start their school year at nearby Marshall High School.
According to officials at the Fort Bend Independent School District, the mold developed when the building was exposed to prolonged humidity when crews shut down power to the school in late June.

In late July, officials said they did not believe the remediation efforts would be complete in time for the beginning of the school year on Aug. 22.
District officials will hold a community forum to kick off the school year at 7 p.m. Aug. 16 at Marshall High School.
