“We’re excited to work with another iconic Texas brand,” John McCullough, COO of James Avery Artisan Jewelry said. “We admire what Whataburger means to Texans, but most importantly, we hope both our customers will be excited about this partnership.”

The silver charm is engraved with the Whataburger “flying W.”

According to a release, the charm is intended to represent "two legendary Texas brands that both got their start in the 1950s."

"In the summer of 1950, one man with a dream opened up a small burger stand in Corpus Christi that would eventually turn into the orange-and-white striped restaurants we know and love," the release said. "A few summers later in 1954, James Avery started his jewelry business in a two-car garage with about $250 in capital. Now, the beloved brands are joining forces to share a little piece of history with fans."
