A picture of a sign over a Walmart gun display Wednesday caused an uproar on social media.

The photo posted by Twitter, Ismail Kidd Noorzai, shows a sign above a gun display at the Evansville, Indiana location that reads, "Own The School Like A Hero."

The photo captioned, "Oh Walmart," has over 400 retweets.

Walmart quickly responded to several users that the sign had been removed. A spokesperson for the Super Center later followed up stating a manager at the location said the sign was no longer anywhere near the guns.

"Just to clarify, the manager at the location reported to us confirmed that no such sign is near this display. Again, so sorry," the Tweet read.
